Audio 2k AST-420Y Product reviews

Audio 2k AST-420Y Review by M. Richards (Indiana)

Pros: Costs less than wall mount and don't have to worry about holes in the wall - plus I can move it around when needed.
Took all of 10 minutes to put together
fast shipping

Cons: could be taller
no shelf for cable box or DVD player to sit on
shipping was pricey

Purchased this for use with a treadmill. 22" flat screen TV fits perfectly. I have the treadmill on the highest incline so to see the TV over the console I had to make the stand as high as it would go - including pushing the base in a bit so it's a little unstable. I don't know if it's possible to tilt the TV back at an angle - just mounting it almost makes it hang in a downward position. I tinkered with some of the screws in back and it's now hanging at a slant, which is driving me batty. This is probably my fault though, not the product.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the purchase. I would purchase it again and recommend it as a decent and affordable treadmill TV stand.

iTrip Auto Universal Plus Review by Mark Hashim

I bought it for my iphone so I can listen to the ipod and use it as hand-free speaker phone.
I am using FM 90.5 band without any problem( NY city metropolitan area). The sound quality is very good except when I drive through a high interference area.
Overall, it is practical and easier to use than the ear phone

iTrip Auto Universal Plus Review by Christopher Lieng (Texas, USA)

Itrip came in a timely manner, works decent for the price and depending on the station selected. Thanks.

iTrip Auto Universal Plus Review by fuzion17c (San Jose, CA)

Pros:
Works as detailed. Not worth the $40 @ Best Buy. Purchase on Amazon for under $9!

Cons:
Can sound staticky. Stations can lose signal from time to time. Cord obstructs the insertion of USB. Requires a USB extension cord.

OtterBox HTC4-MTC4G-20-E4OTR Review by mwt1016

After reviewing cases for my Mytouch 4g I chose the Otterbox. I have had it for a few months now and I can't tell you how many times I have dropped my cell and it is still like new.
I like the 2 part design of this case, it seems to help absurb the impact as they say it should.
I even ordered a 2nd case for a friend because of how much I like it.

OtterBox HTC4-MTC4G-20-E4OTR Review by DMC (Miami, FL)

Have been a big fan of Otterbox cases for awhile since I bought one for my wife's blackberry. Been waiting for this case to come out for the Mytouch. The usual excellent build quality from Otterbox. I like how the silicon is thicker on the top and bottom to provide more protection. It comes with a screen protector that is easy to apply. It adds very little bulk to the phone and the plastic case makes it easy to slip in and out of your pocket unlike full silicon cases.

OtterBox HTC4-MTC4G-20-E4OTR Review by herb_lover (USA)

I waited a long time for this case and I'm mostly pleased with it. Like many other OtterBox buyers, I have a problem with the the flap for the audio jack port---it doesn't stay closed. I'm constantly worried about this and find myself checking to see if it's open. I can see where it would be easy for the little piece to tear off. Let's do something positive about this and send a quick note to the OtterBox people. If each of us "complains" perhaps OtterBox will make improvements in the future. Amazon certainly isn't responsible for the R&D of this product.

Equus 3030 Reviews

Equus 3030 Review by Bennett Fung (Honolulu, HI United States)

If your car's yellow check engine light comes on, you have two choices:

1. Take your car to a mechanical
2. Try to fix the problem yourself

If you belong to the first category, why are you reading this?

If you belong to the second group, and you have a basic knowledge on car repair, read on.

All the new cars now have many sensors, it is basically impossible to fix your own car unless you have a OBD2 code reader. The reader will tell you what the problem is, but it will not tell you how to fix it.

The Equus 3030 is a good basic OBD2 code reader. I found it works perfectly on my 2002 Chrysler. I plug it in, it tells me the code, I look up the instruction manual, and I know what is the problem. In my case, it was code P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor. My next challenge is to figure out where the Camshaft Posistion Sensor is located. The company web site does not give instructions on how to fix the problem. After an hour of searching on the internet, I found a web page showing me a picture of where the sensor is located, what it looks like, and many other technical information about the system. The rest was easy, buying the sensor cost me $50 and took me an hour to install. Then I use the Equus 3030 to reset the OBD2 code and turn off my yellow check engine light.

I found the Equus 3030 to be an excellent unit for occassional users like you and me. The other more expensive units does have some more features, but they are really not needed for the weekend car mechanics. The unit is compact (remember you have to store this unit for a couple of years before you use it again), well constructed, and does what it said.

Some other users comments on incompatibility with Subaru and VW. I don't know if it is still a problem, but the comments are old, and I hope the company has fixed the problem.

I do recommend this unit to all of you who are occassional car repairman. This unit will save you money in car repair. Start saving by buying this unit and not the more expensive ones.

Equus 3030 Review by Gabriel Roybal "Big Dog" (Espanola NM)

I bought this tool because I have a 2002 dodge stratus that has some electrical problems and the check engine light is always coming on. Since it costs about 60 dollars at the dealer just to reset the check engine light this tool has already paid for itself since I have reset the light 5 times since I bought it. It is also very easy to use and the codes are detailed enough even for the weekend mechanic. This tool has also helped me identify 2 problems with my car that i was able to repair immedietly. This really was a good buy.

Equus 3030 Review by John (Albuquerque, NM)

This is what it is and does what it does. It is a basic bare bones code reader (doesn't give you any live telemetry data) but has the advantage of being future proof. This is one of the most affordable code readers that works with the older On-Board Diagnostics (OBDII) and the newer Controller-area network (CAN or CAN-bus). CAN has been in use by some car manufacturers since the 1990's but as of 2008 all new cars sold in the U.S. are required to use CAN. Both protocols use the same type of connector on most cars. Even if you have a car that is OBDII don't be tempted to save a few bucks on an OBDII only reader; you're bound to have a CAN type car in the future.

It is well made, the LCD and status lights are highly readable and the controls are simple and easy to learn. Amazon is shipping the updated 3030a model that is virtually the same as the one pictured except for a slightly different button placement and a newer processor that apparently is more compatible with all car manufacturers.

thought this was a good deal and better alternative to refilling my old cartridge. Turn out that after I installed it I had lots of streaking. The old cartridge did not streak.

Popped it in and it's been working fine for, oh, probably a month now. Have had no issues whatsoever and would definately use this cartridge again.

Compatible Lexmark E120 Toner Cartridge (2000 Page Yield) (12035SA), Works for E120n Review by sockmonkeyninja

This is a perfectly lovely replacement cartridge. Toner sales amounts to a bit of a scam, and I've never been able to bring myself to pay full price. I've previously purchased a cartridge that was of sub-standard quality, and produced ink streaking and blotching - this cartridge, however, worked wonderfully. I feel as much love for it as I am capable of feeling for a small plastic box full of modified carbon powder.

OtterBox MOT4-PHTN4-20-E4OTR Review by R. Airy

This product is a two piece cover, one rubber, and one hard plastic. It withstands being dropped, by accident of course. Great product! Highly recommend.

OtterBox MOT4-PHTN4-20-E4OTR Review by timmo

this 2-layer case (cake?) is both well designed and well manufactured. you could probably use just the inner silicone layer but it's slippery and why not use the outer hard shell too? doesn't add any extra bulk but does add protection. had no problem applying the screen protector. check the simple instructions and you've got it. also, i work with ruggedized laptops so i appreciate having the dust covers on all the data/audio ports. i still have full touch control over all of the buttons and they work fine. here's a suggestion: take the tiny chamois that came with the screen protector and seal it between the inner and outer case. that way, if you need it in a pinch, you always have a way to clean your screen or camera lens! the outer case goes on and off without any hassle or undue stress so you're not gonna wear it out. buy this for you photon...DO IT!

OtterBox MOT4-PHTN4-20-E4OTR Review by Adam B. Kramer

Ordered from an Amazon Marketplace vendor on Tuesday and it was delivered today (Thursday). Fit and finish are perfect! I already had an Invisible Shield cover on the phone so I did not use the one included with the case. The rubber inner covers seems like it might be a bit too loose to use by itself but everything fits great when the outer plastic is snapped on. The phone is very slim by design, and the case only adds a little bit of bulk... which I completely expected.

Zanzibar - High Pile Blanket Review by Crisscat (Illinois)

Great price for this blanket and its super soft. Looks great with all the other matching items in this theme. Blankets quality is well worth the price!

Zanzibar - High Pile Blanket Review by NewParents0306 (Hawaii)

Since my baby's a newborn, and this blanket is way too cute to be spit up on, i was going to use it as a wall hanging, but when it came it was so plushy and soft, i ended up napping with it for a few days! I love it!

Zanzibar - High Pile Blanket Review by J. Payne "Mother of 3 Boys"

This blanket is so Plush and soft. It easily ranked as my son's favorite blanket on the first day. He's had it a couple months now and it hasn't lost favor with him. With it being his favorite blanket you can imagine how many times I've had to wash my 2 year old son's blanket yet it is still holding strong and is as soft as ever. With this being my third son and considering all the other blankets I have had to purchase over the years this was worth the buy. Which is why I believe it deserves all five stars. Thank-you for such a wonderful product.
